No. Not at all. Except maybe when you have it on auction.

Sedo is not exclusive, so if you're parking or selling here, you can also park or list your domains for sale elsewhere simultaneously while listing and setting your domains for sale with us. Make sure however, not to accept an offer here on Sedo, while also accepting an offer through another forum.

Like BELLC1 said, only when the domain is in our auction are you bound to selling the name through Sedo. Accepting an offer constitutes a legally binding agreement and should be given serious consideration. Once an offer has been accepted the buyer has a legal right they can seek to have enforced in a court of law if the seller does not follow through. Sellers who refuse to complete an accepted transaction risk having their Sedo accounts suspended.

Thanks very much....I appreciate the replies. One more question please, when listing domains for sale is it best to have an asking price? Or is it best to have a minimum offer price? Or is it best to just leave it blank and ask for an offer?

Which way is used for the most sales? I suspect Sedo has done some surveys on this and I'm curious what they've learned.

the fact that SEDO is non-exclusive for parking is one of my primary reasons I use them so much... that and the fact that I get some nice sales there from offers on my parked names... I have over 2,000 names there... and reallly like the easy of their process...

Unfortunately Sedo only discloses generic contact information of a non-paying buyer. Sedo does not release email or phone number, making it unnecessarily hard for the seller to fully enforce their option of pursuing mediation or litigation.

Also, in the case of Dirty.org Sedo did not suspend the seller's account who placed the domain on auction after bidding on it himself.
