Domain expiriation

Their is a domain that expired on 14th September I like, according to whois.net it hasn't got renewed as it still says 14th September as expiry date...How long til I can register it as it still isn't available.

30-45 days til the current owner loses the domain name to the redemption period which is another 30 days. Once a domain has expired depending on the registrar the current owner has 30-45 days past the expiration date to renew the domain....then it enters the redemption period. It's a waiting game....
