Good on ya for sharing that info with us all!

I appreaciate the overall 'Domaining' awareness that I have gotten from this forum from its members and staff!

name and shame him then so we all don't get ripped off by him ?

Times up for NameWolf to get my money back for a domain and site he never delivered -- WildCarVideos.com

Does anyone know this guy? He is an exclusive with good feed back but none recently, and registered in 2003...

Gave me a song and dance about PayPal issues -- not being able to refund (funny his PayPal account took my money)... and then promised to pay back via Western Union, but then never heard another peep.

So NAMEWOLF, you are now in the Hall Of Shame...:veryangry:

EDIT: I want to make it clear there is nothing wrong with Escrow.com or their procedure. This is entirely about a scam artist playing us all, and trying to buy as much time as possible to get away with it.
Actually, there is flaw with escrow.com and scammers are using that flaw.

Use sedo, moniker or escrowdns and you won't have that problem since
they will take posession of payment from buyer and domain from seller unlike escrow.com.

What is the flaw at Escrow.com? They don't release the funds to seller until the domain is safely with buyer.

escrow hijacking is also possible at shorter inspection periods, as some registrars allow manual acceptance for transfers so it can be transferred out in a matter of minutes.

the hijacker adds pvcy protection, get his money back and youre screwed.. just make sure you dont deal with the wrong people.
