Domain investing is messy. Real domain investing is messy, it's not easy, but it's so very awesome.

why is it messy?

are you keeping your domain records on scratch pieces of paper, scattered about the house/office?

got names regged at so many different registrars, that you forget where and what they are?

is your mind saying yes and your pocket is saying no?

When I say it's messy I'm referring to how it's a bit of an art and that it's not as cut and dry as people would like to think, at least not as an occupation. Successful domain investing that is...there are plenty of ways to fail and plenty of people selling dreams.

I'm sometimes surprised by my names that get offers, and the ones that don't. Sometimes things happen in domaining that you'd never expect.

In order to succeed, you must first be willing to fail.

Dreams cost nothing, stay away from those selling them. :)

the other side of that coin is ......

the will to succeed, should keep you from failing

and

if time cost money, then dreams aren't free

so wake up and get back to work!

The will to succeed should keep you going.
Failure along the way teaches you how to succeed.
