'Tis the season to be Rick Schwartz. Didn't he just sell Candy.com as well?

Sure he got what he wanted to a degree. Doubt it was all cash or he couldnt resist mentioning how much. Maybe a share+cash deal. Still likely very good.

imo property.com for $750k was the best buy of any domain for around that price
potential unlimited. course Ricks area is not developing or taking it to next step, but he's sure a great salesman

add to that he sold ireport.com for $750k and bought once for regfee, so you could say he got property.com for regfee

so, lets imagine he has achieved millions for property.com...........
what a salesman

i want to know all the details :hungry:

congrats to both buyer and seller on a super name deal!

congrats good stuff.

keeps us all wondering what was the price ;)

Congrats Rick to both you and the buyer. A win-win deal for all!

Exactly Robert! The .com will always be the most coveted. Especially to established businesses like Foreclosure.com.

Why would he buy this domain instead of property.property? BLAH BLAH BLAH

.com is king, it will always be, all these other TLDs mean nothing :)

way to go Rick!!!

Excellent point

Rick still owns properties.com :)

Damn that guy got some sweet domains :P

.com is king, Rick too. :first:

Foreclosures.com is better.

and Foreclosures.mobi, even better.

Missing the point folks, this deal shows that the domain market is boyant at the top end, even in todays economy. There are entreprenuers out there who are still looking beyond the next 2-3 years and are focusing on what lies beyond.

If this is an 8-figure deal as is being rumoured it means that glitches like the recent Geo-auction are just that.
