I am in a weird situation. There is a domain that I was looking into trying to buy. I had trouble contacting the domain owner, but I eventually found out that he died a few years ago.

Is there any way to go about buying the domain?

I guess the only way for you to get it is to let it expire and hope that you can grab it.
