While compiling 2014 domain sales data for a report I will give at next week's TRAFFIC Conference in Miami Beach I found that total domain sales $ volume, across all extensions, for the first three quarters of 2014 was up almost 20% from the same period last year. Still, this past week was a weak one with no reported sales above $40,000. The .coms took 8 of the first 9 spots on our latest weekly Top 20 Sales Chart and 15 of 21 places overall (the extra spot resulting from a three-way tie for the final position). The non .com gTLDs claimed four chart entries – all .nets – while the ccTLDs were limited to two spots – both of those being three-letter domains. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2014/20141029.htm
