DomainBlog.com

Recent acquisition. I personally like to collect quality domain name related domain names and I have sold several names like this in the past e.g. DomainList.com and DomainHack.com

Please share your thoughts on this domain name, thanks :)

Nice one. Try to develop it.

It is a great domain. Screams to be developped.

3800 or more end user

I don't think we can separate to resellers and end-users in this case...

definitely a mid X,XXX+ name

Thanks guys, much appreciated. :)

great.mid x,xxx

don't mean to disappoint you but $6,000 for this domain is seriously overpaid. i would appraise it at $3,000 in this kinda economy. develop it and u'll do all right.

Nice domain owntag!

The beauty with this name is that the trade are the end users - no need to explain where the value is.

I don't think you'll lose any money with it!

Most domainers who would create a domain blog, are keen enough to source out a brandable domain.

Other than owning the vanity of the domain, unless a domainer who wants to spend most likely now at least $7k and up to blog, is the only real buyer out there.

As we can do a quick search by looking at the forum threads, most domainers do not pay those sort of values, when they know that a blogs pure content will bring traffic, and not just the name.

If you were going to start a blog, the name itself provides a great head start, with instant credibility.

undeveloped low x,xxx

developed with traffic and PR - mid x,xxx

very nice!

At the risk of being predictable.. set up a blog on it :)

Well one thing is certain, there is no shortage of end users in our industry :)
But most cannot afford to pay what the domain is worth - imo mid $$$$ sounds like the sweet spot :)

It was a documented sale at $6k, so the value has been established, now it will take at least high 4 figures, and up to obtain the name from hereon out, considering the buyer decides to sell at those levels......

Nice flip for the seller. Bought it for $1,000 and sold it for $6,000. Perfect domain to develop since you're in the industry.

Nice name! I won't give an appraisal because you probably have a good idea of it's value by now ;).

But, have you considered leasing subdomains for other domainers to use? For example, stian.domainblog.com, katherine.domainblog.com etc. Set up a wordpress blog on each subdomain, take a share of revenue etc.

You'll have a lot more content than running one blog!

Just my $0.02.
