What do Domainers think of a Registrar accepting money for the Landrush .me Application, then- when I was unsuccessful in obtaining my .me name, not refunding the monies paid, but instead placing a Credit Note into my account. Not only do I now have to buy more names from the Registrar, but the Credit Note is less then what I paid for originally, due to (according to Registrar) currency fluctuations. (In their favor ofcourse)

I guess this was addressed in their terms & conditions applicable to the landrush. Time to read the fine print.

I supposed I personally would put it in dispute with my credit card company.

First read the terms (after all you are bound by them), then try to reach an agreement with them. If you ask politely maybe they will make an exception and issue a refund. Charge back is a last resort. Most registrars treat charge back as fraud, consequently your account and names will be locked.

True, sorry, didn't get details before my first post. You are bound to those.
