The idea for this one started when PowerPipe decided to start charging for transfers out. Of course, the Ogre had to let them have it after that :).

http://www.domainnamereview.com/

The 4 reviews I have up so far are:

PowerPipe.com
Sedo
AfterNic
Namewinner

I am trying to review anything domain-related so I am open to suggestions for future reviews like software and tools etc.

It all depends on the individual experience...I think Powerpipe deserves a higher rating. I have had only great experiences when dealing with them.

It's been about 3 months Ogre. Also I'd reccomend a scam section for namely the "Rock.com" Guy.

I have too, but it does not change the fact that its hard to sell names from there. Also their recent decision to charge for transfers out borders on holding your domains hostage!

Hmm, I will think about that. It would have to be done right though. It could easily cause more trouble than its worth if its not done right.

Well, you could hire jberry to do your legal disclaimers for you :-D

I agree org, such site content may be good crowd pullers but lousy when you get slammed by the scam who thinks you are sham :dead: Interesting site though. Good wishes with it!

Just added a review on Namecheap. You can find it under Most Recent Reviews. One down and four to go :).

LOL, will look into that.

There is a plan to offer interactive features in the future, but we will have to see if that one is added or not :).

I may add a section about appraisal scams by email because I just got another one lol.

Thank you for the reply, my buyer would really like to move this along as
quickly as possible, payment would be in the form of a Bankers Cheque, Bank
Transfer or Paypal, we do not deal with Western Union or Bid Pay, Do you
know if the name has been in use before? I do feel it is worth between
$600.00 and $1000.00 which is a price we have been working on. My buyer is
willing to pay $$250.00 more than a professional appraisal which I do
believe will come out nearer to $1,000. I would like to push this through so
the next thing is for the domain to have a professional appraisal, please do
not use one of the free services, we shall need it to be in the form of a
professional service who provide online proof like

www.valuations4u.com
www.greatdomains.com or
www.backoftheenvelope.com/

All of which we have found very good in the past and fair, my client will
not consider any purchase without a 3rd party appraisal, this being for
several reasons including a legal loop hole that could occur down the road.
