Hmm. I was just wondering to myself... I wonder if anyone buys domains that come up on TV shows. Example: I was watching 'King Of The Hill' today, and on it they had someone appear on some website, and the website was called PeggysFeet.com. I am curious if people register domains that are mentioned on shows, just to possible get traffic from people who type those in?

I dont know if that makes sense. I couldnt think of how to word it.

There was a domain advertised on my local news station for a "home show" event. It turned out the domain was available. They were supposed to advertise the .ca, not the .com. I was going to grab it, but the Show was only a 3 day event, and was a week away, so I decided not to bother. Of course, a couple hours later I checked again and it was taken, so maybe I should have registered it :)
