Heya,

I've got a domain that has made about 80.00 in revenue on average every month for the past five months. How would I go about valuing it based solely on that? The domain is reasonable, but may be a TM problem, so I'm not looking for worth of the domain... just the traffic.

Thanks!

tm domains pay 6 months to 3 years revenue depending on how blatant the tm is, from what I have seen

Good rule of thumb is 1 year to 18 months for any TM. Why? Because buyers just wont pay any more than that. To much risk. The way OUT if something should arise, is to hand over the domain. If that happens in the first few months, their investment is gone. The more aggressive the Company behind the TM, the LESS you will get for the Domain.

They will also way the longevity of the TM.. for instance, If you had PS2.com... the life span of that domain is likely VERY short as the PS3 is now out.

Best of luck :)
