Can anyone tell me if domains that have no name servers, appear in the Zone files ?

What about domains with name servers but with no host / alias / whatever records ?

I was curious. Why do people look at domains with no name servers? How is that related to expiring domains?

beantown - it is possible (although rare) that some generic domains will have no NS. and since most people track expiring domains with Zone Files, maybe not many will notice that these domains are expiring...
