Is it likely that an individual would pay $35k for domainshop.com or would only companies like Verisign or Register.com be likely buyers of it?

I cant rememebr exacly, but when I talked to the owner of DomaiNames.com (1 "N") he wanted $30K-$50K, cat rememebr, or maybe it was $100k.

btw, BuyDomains took another nice name two days ago: DOMAINBUSINESS.COM

I was chasing DomainBusiness.com as well and was very upset when I did not get it. I contacted BuyDomains and managed to buy the domain from them without any problems.

I moved my snap off of DomainMall.com several months ago and didn't put it back on before someone else moved in. That sucker's either going to fall in WLS or something else is going to happen. It looks like someone changed all the contact info on it though... so I'm not clear whether it even has a fair shot at being renewed or otherwise acquired (if these changes weren't fraudulent).

Just seemed so odd, considering the name still points to the same place. Oh, and the name didn't drop in October. The "expire date" had said October 2002, all the way up until March, when the registrant name changed to "Bo Redin", and it still said October 2002 for the expire date. I even got outbid on Namewinner in March as interest picked up.

I definitely lack a lot of domainname chasing stamina. In March, this was the record (I posted it in a public forum so that others would at least have a public record.):

I think you can throw in mart and depot as other premium suffixes for domain retail sites.

BTW Nexus, I thinks those names are worth at least twice what you quoted them as. Keep in mind that DomainShop and DomainMall are the type of names to build a high scale domain business around.
