I was looking at their program and thinking of giving it a shot, although domainsponsor has kept me happy. Can anyone give some feedback?

Thanks,
Joe

http://www.domainspa.com/testimonials.asp :)

I have only experiences of nameRENTers and DomainSpa
because I want to receive money via paypal.
So, I don't know much about other similar services.

Actually, I think that they have some negative factors in DomainSpa;

- Traffic from far east has no value.
I think that it is same to other services.
nameRENTers blocks accessing from Japan, for example.

- No web-based control panel at the moment.
Currently, they are handing manually.
I heard that they were going to provide it in near future.

- No information of _each_ domain performance.
You can get restricted report at the moment, e.g., average
hits per day for each domain and _total_ income and hits.

- No support for .name domains
Who needs ? :D

And here is positive factor;

- The results always go over $3 per CPM for 4 months.
It's quite better than nameRENTers ($2.50 per CPM).

Good luck!

(sorry for temporary deletion)

Joe, what type of CPM figures are you getting with DomainSponsor?

I'm just in the process of setting up some domains to go through them. Their site/concept is new but the people behind are number 1. I can recommend them highly.

I also forwarded all my names to domainspa program a few days ago. I used domainsponsor before that. I can also recommend them,

Cool, thanks for the input. As far as CPM with domainsponsor, I can't really be sure since i've been there for such a short time. I suppose i'll give both of them a trial run and see how things work out.

Thanks for the input,
Joe

I am sure DS has some value. Of course, DS probably acts as a middleman between the domain owner and the sponsor, so there is another mouth to feed.

However, DS probably has top notch sponsors, so it may balance out. It's a great potential solution for folks who have a hard time managing their domains, which may apply to many people who work "real" jobs rather than worry about domains 24/ 7.

The only way to know for sure is to try it.

With such low returns from other traditional advertising options as Commission Junction, it's certainly worth a shot..

I think i'm going to stick with domainsponsor until they actually get stats up over there. I'm sure they're fair and accurate now, but it will give me a good time amount of time to test domainsponsor and see how the results compare.

Thanks,
Joe

DomainSpa just spammed me. This is what they sent...

> Some domains probably NOT WORTH renewing!
>
> You spend anywhere from $7 to $35 YEARLY for each domain. Multiply
> this figure by number of domains you own...
>
> What if YOUR domain(s) would at least PAY FOR THEMSELVES generating

> You have NOTHING to LOSE! There is NO COST to the domain owner!
> Rejuvenate those tired "old" domain names and put some money in your

As you can see from the above, the spam was NOT from a reseller as there's no referral code in it.

Edwin,

I got that same e-mail, on ALL of my domain related accounts
ranging from DomainPond to NameSniper to Domain-Retriever, etc.

Looks like someone is trying to hit the market hardcore.

Interesting news about the spam.

Apart from that I have to say that I talk to "Mrs Jello" regularly and he is a very smart guy. DomainSpa seems to me like a great service, the semantic algorythms seem better them applied semantics and if I could think of a way to use it with our 300,000+ parked domains I would do so.

Mark......

I just got the same spam again, at an address that I have never - and I mean never - given out in public. I use it only for Whois and for emailing my family.
