BLazeD, I have very little experience of .org's but here is my 2 cents!
Donated.org is a good name for a charity digest or particular kinds of social group site (not as good as 'Donation.org', which whilst being longer is actually still much better). It does have a monetary value, and my guess is in the $xxx's because of the projected type of end user.
The domain would of course also lend itself to development along the lines of a social awareness site reporting news of promised donations and whether those promises have been kept, but even if this were done I cannot readily think of advertisers who would pay well to advertise on the site (this though could be my lack of knowledge in this particular area). It would be a case of what return for time, effort and money invested.
To conclude, a nice name for the right end user and value in the $xxx's.
