I was wondering what the take on .biz domains is these days. I know ofcourse that they are far far less valuable than a .com. Is it worth it to hold on to good .biz names and will the value be rising over the years? How well does a .biz rank against the other TLD's?

Not much, they dont have any resale value except for some good one word dictionery words that got a good sale at sedo.

if you have any good keyword .biz's hold on to them. it's a long term proposition.

I would agree, hold them.

I have horrible.biz and can't sell it I think im just going to hold onto it for a year.

Nice name :P I have quite a few .biz names that i plan to hold on to. The internet is still "young" and it's almost impossible to get into the .com TLD anymore unless you have reasonable deep pockets (or are satisfied with 3rd or 4th rate domains)... while people will want to start new websites with a good domain. I personally feel they will (for a business) try to obtain the cheaper .biz because the hugely expensive .com is out of reach.

How do you rank the .biz extension among the other 4 TLDs?

i have
paymentprocessor.biz
paymentprocessors.biz

Goes well with my BillingServices.biz :P
