- the largest mobile phone manufacturers, providing the hardware nessecary to make the .mobi extension mainstream in
- large software companies such as Microsoft, providing the nessecary software for making this succeed
- the largest cellphone service providers such as Vodafone, T-Mobile and Telefonica
- the large number of resources that the above companies represent, which will mean that they will not lack means to promote the (use of and standarization of) .mobi
