My reseller is asking for $3 to change the status back to Active from restricted. I never asked them in the first place to Restrict my domains.

I wrote to Dot registrar support about this and they are yet to reply back. Its been a week. their support really sucks and their encourage resellers who adopt to unfair and illegal trade practices.

Is there any help i can look for beyond this to resolve my issue. Will a legal action help me solve this problem?

Best Regards

Legal recourse is always a tough thing to do because of the cost and time involved. If you have a minor issue and just need some help in changing something then I would wait and see what happens. The next thing that you may want to consider is besides writing an email send a hard copy letter (snail mail), this usually gets people's attention since it doesn't happen very often. The next thing you might want to consider is looking for another registrar and just start moving management or purchases somewhere else where you are comfortable with the level of service. If you do decide to push ahead more promptly go to www.icann.org first they won't get involved in an individual complain but when you submit that information they will forward that to the registrar and usually they make something happen from there.
