Can anyone recommend good software/script that records/manages double-opt in email mailing lists? It should record the IP address of the signup, timestamp, etc., so that one isn't accused of spamming.

Or, if there are remotely-hosted services that do this, some suggestions would be great.

Originally posted by webcounter George, try www.netatlantic.com they may have the features you are looking for. Eric

I have used both Microsoft ListBuilder and Topica and found both of them very unsatisfactory what with constant headaches, bugs, errors, lacking important features, downtime and software glitches. It seems Topica does not even run on newer computer configurations according to their tech supt feedback.

At first glance it seems like netatlantic will be excellent, with great features and power! Thanks again. This shows the great value of dnforum what with excellent free information from its knowledge sharing members like Eric.

I have only used netatlantic for a short time but they seem to be a very strong firm. Good customer service, easy implementation and no interruptions of service yet. Also... a bigger plus is that they are more affordable than most of the other list hosters out there.
