Drinks.com - $750,000
Sometimes I pick up a new name that is so good I like to feature it solo on my newsletter. This one is definitely a category killer.
The name was originally purchased back around 1998 for a retail internet play called Drinks.com, which at the time was the worldâs largest on or offline wine, beer and spirits store. About $30 million went into developing the site, distribution, etc. Then the dot com bubble burst and the company was shut down. Since that time the name has been owned by my client.
The potential here is obvious. With the right team behind it, this name could easily generate a million plus annually. Iâve seen lesser names make more.
The superiority of the name is reflected in its price, however, I do have the authority to negotiate, so please feel free to make some offers.
