I tried the auction format about a month ago with sedo - there were no other bids while in auction - the buyer finally ended up walking away from the deal - thought he was pissed I stuck it in auction

Yeah. Probably not the best for .ca's at the moment. I'd never done an auction there so figured this would be a good opportunity. I don't mind keeping the name if he walks away either.

Can they do that? I thought they were comitted to buying the domain regardless of the auction. Sedo SAYS that's so.

They're comitted... But, Sedo can't force them to pay.

I'm curious because CarHappy.com is at Auction at Sedo right now as well. I have one bid (like you) at $250. I was counting on the fact that it was sold, no matter what.
