Now that they have their own tag, they might have some firepower, albeit very little.

Anything associated with Unifiednames is crap.

Wouldn't even touch it if it was free.

I purchased one so-called dropfly and tested with several expiring names.
So far it caught none of them.
I don't think they are really good. It's cheap but not so effective IMHO.
If you are serious about getting an expiring name my advice would be to go with Snapnames, Pool, perhaps Godaddy.

Well I have just registered a name which dropped a few minutes ago.
I had placed the name in my dropfly account.

I checked the name with registerfly, it showed the domain as available for registration.
Then I moved on to register the name myself.
So even then the backorder system was not triggered.

I also notice that the dropfly interface does not validate if the name to monitor is valid.
Actually it looks like it is easy to beat their system.
Needless to say I am not impressed with the service

You get what you pay for. I wouldnt expect them to put a lot of juice into drop catching for 10 bucks.
