Just a quick update, because I know a lot of you are anxious.
Version 2.0 upgrade for the backend is complete. You will notice slightly faster loading right now with 1.0, but the real stuff is behind-the-scenes to support 2.0 features.
1.0 will continue to work until I see that everyone has upgraded, at which point I'll quietly remove the old web service functions.
2.0 Front-end is very close to being complete. I'm guessing about another 20 to 30 hours of work to wrap it up, and I'm taking next week off from eNom (who isn't - it's Thanksgiving in the US) to finish it up. (Don't worry, I'll still be running Club Drop while on "vacation").
Once that's done, registered users of 1.0 will receive a URL to download 2.0 and try it out to find any last bugs that I might have missed. Demo mode will NOT be enabled in this very short final beta.
So if you want to get the final beta, but have been putting off buying 1.0, you really should get it now! :-D Besides, you'll be contributing to my holiday fund and letting me get better presents for my kids. How's that for a shameless plug? :-D
