I'll post this here in advertising, since I'm soliciting for ideas for my commercial product.
I'm working on the charting features of DropShark 1.1 right now. I have some of the obvious charts, like number of n-letter domains (picture a curve-chart with the X-axis being the character-length of a domain and the Y-axis being how many domains there are of that length).
I'm interested in what other charting features you all would find useful.
Perhaps an analysis of vowel-position in names? It's been suggested that names that have a vowel in position two and four of a domain indicate pronouncability, for example. Yes, that's rather esoteric, but it's an example.
Perhaps a history of how many domains have dropped over the past few months to show a trend?
See where I'm going with this?
Ultimately, the software is only as good as what it can do, so I'm asking you all what you'd like it to do. No suggestion is too silly - I promise I won't laugh (well, out loud at least).
Post here for discussion, or PM me if you wish.
