so far im getting around 40 uniques a month undevelopped and the dubai business bay is still in construction.....

any idea of its worth ?

so far this is the stats from sedo parking...

United States 90,4 %
Canada (en) 2,7 %
Great Britain 2,7 %
Europe (Other) 1,4 %
Germany 1,4 %
Saudi Arabia 1,4 %

out of the close to 3400 dubai domain names posted on sedo... traffic wise.. its in the top 30


based on this what would be your opinion? your saying if it was from Dubai it would be worth more...? or because most of the traffic is from the United States, it would be easier to sell it...? i would really be interested to know...

sedo doesnt provide that info as far as i know... but i think most of it is type-ins... cuz when a domain is parked and i dont have googleads or anything on it .. it would be really hard to have se, back links not sure what that is , but im not linked to any site or anything, its just a simple parking page...

my opinion:

nobody will buy or can properly appraise this domain unless you can provide detailed traffic information.

domains with a single "-" do not get such type-in traffic let alone one with two -'s.

well I respect your opinion , but dubai business bay is the center of Dubai's business sector and its in full construction and is believed to be one of the important financial locations of the world..
and you would be surprised... in US or Western related domains , i agree with you that its rare to see hyphens, let alone 2, but if you check alot of European domains they do have hyphens, especially German style ones, and another fact is that alot of the domains regarding locations and buildings regarding Dubai have hyphens... not all , but even some official ones do....

i haven't really posted this in alot of places... and traffic has been consistent... so i understand what you mean... but there are exceptions...

its not like good-deals-dubai.com , and i have cheap-hotels-dubai.com which last month alone got about 25 unique visitors... without having it posted anywhere....

40 uniques a month parked at sedo is nothing......and there are alot of alternatives without using that many - ...but good luck

i agree, 40 hits a month is very little traffic, unless it converts well with a high paying keyword. The value of this domain is: (revenue per year)-(regfee). even if you get a CTR of 25% and a cpc of 10 cents thats 12 bucks a year - 8 regfee = $4 ..so the domain is actually worth less than regfee

Dubai Business Bay is a huge contrusction here and their site is www.businessbay.ae most of the traffic to your domain would be most probably curiosty traffic type-ins would be a really far fetched idea.

However those are good keywords for people aming at dubai business so i would say around $xx to end user.
