E-CommerceSites(.)com

Domains first registration dates back to early 2002 and had a large previous business site according to alexa.com and the wayback machine..

See the sheer volume of advertisers and market scale:

www.E-CommerceSites.com

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&gbv=2&q="e-commerce+sites"

over 1 million results for exactly "e-commerce sites" as well as many advertisers, this is the core of all business on the Internet and a very very big business itself (design & hosting of e-commerce sites & related merchant services), please give your educated estimated base reseller and end-user values assuming no traffic or website with the domain, thanks! :eek:k:

"E-Commerce" is the exact generic dictionary term also: http://www.answers.com/e-commerce&r=67

e-commerce =
n.
Commerce that is transacted electronically, as over the Internet.

A good domain, in a still bomming vertical, yet very competitive enviroment.

Yes the exact phrase "e-commerce sites" returns over one million sites, but the exact phrase without the "-" ""e commerce sites" returns the exact same results. SE's don't consider the "-"

This domain has great vaule if developed. The advertising rates are high. Giving it the option of running on an informational, service, community, blog, tutorial, and many more models. It can cater to small, medium, and/or large businesses. It is a common search term and is a good domain for SEO'ing.

I see this as a portal potential, very much the way it currently appears on the parked page. Not sure where the page is parked but it has a nice clean look to it.

It could even become more inclusive to break down industry by industry.

A well constructed site with a well designed banner ad from affiliate sites like commission junction could be a prime portal and landing site for the budding internet entrepreneur spirit. Could also be a great name for a web host reseller account concentrating on services catering to the e-commerce industry...shopping cart, secure check out, encryption email services.

Undeveloped low $xxxx. End user with proper SEO and affiliate ads could see this easily in the mid $xxxx to low $xx,xxx. Potentially could be a steady stream of income with the right advertisers and subsequent landing pages per category or selling e-commerce web hosting packages.

Thanks for your input dnalias, I agree it's a booming market, growing very rapidly with an increased demand for these sites for businesses worldwide, there is a BIG difference however in the "e-commerce" and "ecommerce" results....

"E-Commerce" is the correct usage term and has much more frequency:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&gbv=2&q="e-commerce"

"ECommerce" returns only less than 1/3 the results!
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q="ecommerce"&gbv=2

Just want this to be clear..and if you notice the exact usage and the dictionary definition is filed under "e-commerce"

Circa1850...thanks for your input, my thoughts exactly!

Anyone else?

Yes, it's a great domain:

How many times have we hear about e-commerce?
Thousands times!
It's the main reason why companies go online and create sites...

The perfect name for a site listing e-commerce sites (the name says it all).

This is a domain that should probably be sold between 5 and 10K.

Good luck with the sale!

wow I'm suprised this is'nt snatched up by a big company already, what a great domain, reseller I am thinking 5-10k minimum just to dump it, and at least $xx,xxx to an end user..maybe alot more considering what an old generic it is..

I am surprised this is being appraised so high, I know its a good term, but it has a hyphen and its very long, e-commerce.com would be great, but e-commercesites.com ? In my opinion you guys are way off...

I agree, I dont know if people didnt realize the "sites" at the end...would be interesting to send this to auction and see if it even goes over $1000..unless there is oustanding traffic I gotta say its not worth as much either..

Thank you everyone for your input and appraisals, I will take this all into consideration if the domain is possibly put up for sale soon, it is an oldie! ;)
