"Registered" some .com.cn via these people. Had confirmation, they took the money and now I think I am being told that they cannot now guarantee my registrations as they are having problems with the server.

I have seen that other registrars have already confirmed successful registrations is that correct?

Any body else had similar problems?

No problems at Dotster, all successful customers have been billed and have their names.

Neustar tells me they/CNNIC should have the WHOIS operational by the end of the week. Unti lthen you can at least check if a domain is registered using the UNIX host command (if you done have access to that use the second option on this page: http://www.demon.net/external/, if you get a host not found then the name is still available.

This is correct with ENOM, I'm using the PDQ (www.needname.com) and successfully registered .com.cn domains.

Cheers,

Yep, Easyspace have achieved what even Dotster couldn't do, 100% - sorry Mark.

24 names "registered" with a 100% failure rate.

They didn't even tell me until I asked what the !!! is going on.

And they took my money, and they still have it!

Wiil I recommend Easypace for future land rushes - let me think ------------------NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad to hear that.
