I'm sure many of you are waiting for these super typos:

ebomsworld
ebamsworld

What's the consensus on which dropcatcher has the best chance to get them? And what outrageous price will they go for?

ebumsworld.com -10640 w/ext. What would you pay for 10,000+ uniques a month of crappy "humor" traffic?? Isn't that the whole point, traffic is worthless if it doesn't convert into dollars. Let's just say you park it at Sedo and get 10% CTR, that's 1000 clicks at roughly 5 cents... or $50/month revenue. Even at 2 years rev, that's only $1200. I'm willing to bet this domain goes for at least 3 times that, especially if Pool is involved.

Any theories?

just wondering what does ebamsworld get in traffic. I would think more than eboms but I could be wrong. People who deal in typos will probally pay alot though. Also do you really think the CTR will be as high as 10% I was thinking mabye 1 out of 50

yep. very strange considering that i made offers on a few of these domains a while back and they said they are not interested in selling. i guess the search engines are putting pressure on these massive TM owners.

I have tried to buy ALOT of domains from those idiots at La porte, always get the same generic dumbass response...and then they have the names drop...lol

My estimate for disneychannle.com profit from parking is $1500~$2500/month. I would bid $10K~15K and prey, no WIPO comes soon...

BTW I think Laporte could not sell, as it would be proof in court or in WIPO. This drop might be a result of a court decision - they was forced to do so. But as they have very good stats about traffic and revenue, I think they are bidding secretly on drops with some of their offshore company. Because they know value of all the drops, while we can only guess...

on the other hand, ebaum's isn't trademarked as far as I can tell, plus those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones:

could always make money from pop ups on your parked page, dont even have to worry about clicks. But with the right keyword, should get a good click through i think.

*IF* you could get the drops which you are not going to...just make sure they are immediately private registrations and the path to taking them from you would be long and hard for any of these above noted companies, although recently I have seen domains I was going after simply be placed on a "suspended" status by the registrar based on major TM issues and letters from the companies lawyers, as in if they cannot contact you to address the issue then the next logical person responsible is the registrar. La Porte is definitely in there bidding on all of their old domains, they most likely will get them all since money is not really an object for them. bass turds.

I have a list of HUNDREDS of major ovt with ext domains that just dropped....not all were caught either! muhahhahaha
