Will ebay not like eBOY.com ?

I do not want to incur ANY legal cost (or other costs)

If they do bother me hsould i hand it over (just regging)

I don't think you will have any problems. If they do have a problem with it they will contact you, at which time you can decide if you wanna hand it over or take them on.

If I owned it I wouldn't be worried about eBay, not right now at least.

Mike

Yes I agree it is your domain and you paid for it :)

Any auction site with "bay" in it will get eBay legal dept. humming. I think eboy should be OK, show development and legitimate interest for the site.

I was contacted about another domain that had 'bay' as its ending. I didn't want much trouble and I asked for its deletion from my registrar. Ebay is the 800-lbs gorilla that can really bust your cajones.

I was contacted as well about the " Bay " word like over a year ago. Unless they are building up a case against me who knows :) but after a few emails back and forth, they seemed to have backed off.

I'd avoid anything that had to do with an online auction on the site though, just to be safe.

Any ideas on what to use eBoy.org (lol I should not cap the B !!!)

It is a hard one

electronic boy --- non profit.... uhhhh I wanna make a profit!

I think they will be mad an you should turn it over to me for safe keeping. Ok, really. If you use it for porn, I almost guarantee you will have problems. Some people will for sure arrive there accidently looking for ebay, and after a few complaints they may have a case against you. So don't use it for that. ANything else I don't think should be a problem. I am not an attorney. Thats just MHO
