For those who haven't subscribed to NAF's mailing list, here's an interesting
UDRP for you:

If you read it thoroughly, the Respondent had a lot of things against him. But
against all odds, he won!

A big factor in the Respondent's win is that the Complainant registered their
trademarks seemingly too late. I'm not really sure how to "interpet" the events
at USPTO, though.

What happened?

This case was badly presented by the complainant.
All they had to do was to claim "common law" trademark rights.
But once the panel discarded the trademark ownership, the legitim interest and bad faith discussions did not proceed.
Bad luck for her

You nailed it. The complainant screwed the pooch on this one. There was no good reason for them to lose.
