A friend of mine got this email allegedly from APIC:

On Fri, Oct 21, 2011 at 6:07 AM, APIC Worldwide < (AIPC related name) @gmail.com > wrote:

APIC

I'm assuming it is just somone trying to get under his skin, I double APIC would use a gmail email address and make the email this short (I'm sure we all know what legal letters look like). To me, the letter is just way too vague (as in not letting him know what images are allegedly illegally being used), too demanding, and just too short.

Thoughts?

I agree the likelihood of them using a gmail address is slim.

Most likely someone wanting to get your attention and putting in a link to A.P.I.C..

Still...if you are using images perhaps thought to be in the public realm and someone has seen an image of theirs, you should perhaps consider changing those images. I notice that this is related to a facebook page. Well, that stuff spreads pretty rapidly and all it takes is someone noticing an image and contacting the owner.
