If it was email.com I could see you making money off it but I don't see someone paying for emails.net.

Could be worth it by using Hivemail to offer a free email service, Requiring a secondary email, and building a database to send a weekly or monthly email message to. Making money off of banner ads onsite, and links as email signatures.

You could say that about almost anything though. Why by a 50 mb hosting account when you can get one for free?

Also, there are tons of websites that sell email adresses, for example pobox.com, but why do that when you can get a free one? and also, FREE ONES HAVE ADS, WHICH PEOPLE HATE!
