Well thats when we have the mark of the devil, right? Thank God, I won't be around in 2 hundred years...lol

What makes you think you won't be around? Where are you going to go?

I'd hope in two hundred years we're not searching Google to find a tidbit of information.

I doubt I will be worried about searching google in 200 years
Unless microsoft develop Windows for Reincarnations or perhaps MS Windows Afterlife beta 0.1, your gateway to the internet after death.

radioz: Like Ben Bova wrote in one of his books, in 50 years, people are likely to be asking "What was a dotcom?"

Mallie: I'm just taking a wild guess here, but I think they're going to be taking a dirt vacation. It seems to be the in thing with dodecagenarians.

Ah, HarveyJ, you're talking about the bit that sits on the chair in front of the computer, not the bit that runs the other computer that does the domaining. :)

Well, as much as I'd love to be proved wrong on this, I just don't think cybernetic sciences will get to the point that we can leave our bags of meat behind on a permanent basis within our life times.

And even if it does, I'm fairly certain right-wing fundamentalist groups will raise enough objections about some pugwashy nonsense like "souls" to prevent it happening for another century.
