I learned some time ago that there are risks in shopping your own names to companies where possible TM issues exist (i.e. asking ABCmedia.com if they are interested in buying my name ABC.com).

However, what if I approach those companies simply as a middleman? In other words, I know Party A is willing to sell XYZ.com and I approach XYZmedia.com asking if they'd like me to acquire XYZ.com for them. Are there potential risks to me as independent broker here? The scenario I'm concerned about is if XYZmedia company gets upset and tries to obtain XYZ.com from Party A through, say, UDRP.

Thanks
