I stand by Stian's points, having recently been 'relieved' of $900 on this forum on a deal that looked too good to be true very recently, (with little prospect of getting my money back) I think that it is not right that somebody can make this sort of claim without justification... I think the seller here should still be made to justify the claims inspite of the name being moved to 'offers wanted'- if so many people had not commented in this thread, would have the mods have picked it up? (No disrespect intended).

Can someone explain to me... I'm looking at the jpg of the stats and is that a proper screenie or is that just a screen shot of a csv file which anyone could make up?

Anyone elses opionion would be appreciated as i can't tell whether it's genuine or not, nothing accusatory, just would appreciate verification it's authentic by someone who knows the account it's with?

BIN is $400, although I think I should call of this sale, wait a while and see if it was bought traffic in about a month if traffic is still good I'll consider the sale.

All right...I wasn't originally interested in the sale...but just got curious over the little controversy...and did just a little bit of research.
1. I used a couple traffic sites to confirm traffic - all show 0/nonexistant, which means if the traffic demonstrated actually happened, it is very short framed, or just spontaneously started, not long enough to be recorded in the traffic measuring sites.
2. I checked for sources of traffic - not a typo (checked the most obvious variations- different extensions, dash). No good yahoo or google appearence, no popular backlinks.
3. This leads me to assume that the traffic is bought. (probably through one of those cheap redirect packages on Ebay).

(If there are any savvy webmasters on here, I have found something on the site that can reveal it's true traffic, but don't have enough knowledge to pursue it myself, pm if really interested)

I am not saying he has lied or anything, but I think its clear that there was an intention to mislead or bullsh!t your way to an inflated sale price. I disagree with this being allowed. Sorry to keep commenting in this thread but having been scammed here recently I feel very strongly that this is exactly the sort of crap I don't expect on a professional domain marketplace. Save this sh!t for ebay.

I think this is to keep "sales threads" like this from ever getting this far.

I stay keep it strict and give a friendly reminder to the rules and if not complied with in 24 hours. Delete.

Brian you are right. This thread gets deleted or stays open it really doesn't matter because no one here will ever buy this domain from the OP.

This thread stayed open because originally STATS were shown but they doesn't seem right, hence the discussion.

I have just put in my opinion as I felt it is pretty deceiving.
