eNom has fixed the glitch which allowed $6.95 sub-accounts to continue to be created despite warning messages. THis is the same for main accounts (ETPs) and sub-accounts.
Some people are going to have to find a new way to make a quick $20 on eBay.
It appears that pre-existing accounts with prices below $8.95 will remain that way. But an educated guess is that if you make any change at all to the pricing it will go through the chewing-up script and that will be the end of that account as sub-$8.95.
