Just got this info via phone conversation!

if you are the winning bidder for a club drop, and do not pay-up,or respond to emails concering your winning bid.......then your account may be "locked" until you respond!

this of course is unofficial, but IMO will help to eliminate fake bidders.

hopefully, it will result in reduced prices and less bidders.

You've been on the phone with enom? I'm trying to get them on the phone for some weeks now to get my account verified. Even left my creditcard# on their answering machine ... no success. :dead:

I would be more willing to go with a system like snapnames where you can see the bidders and know who they are. Transparent systems make me feel very secure in bidding on names.

SnapNames is the best system so far for honesty I feel. They at least show nicknames and if your bidding without funds that you have available, your winning bid gets forfited to the next highest bidder once they run the credit card. Even though this means the next highest bidder gets the name at their max price which was probally driven up by the fake bidder, its better than nothing.

On the same note, Pool's cloaked system is a joke.

What's to stop them from opening another account at enom and doing the same thing?
