I just found out some of my domains registered with Enom recently have wrong expiration dates. I AM SURE I chose 1 year registration, yet the whois shows them expiring in 2005/2006!!

Anyone else having this problem? I'm going to email Enom, making sure they won't charge me extra years.

Are they all .org, goh? I understand ISOC/Afilias is in the process of migrating the .org backend over from Netsol.

I've been having .org problems

1. The transfer I made 5 days ago on a .org is still drawing no response. The .net went through fine.

2. One of my recent snaps was a .org, and is now in limbo with my whois details missing.

Yes, they are all .org. But the problem seems just with Enom, I've got a few .org in Dotster and they're fine.

I'm fine if they added the extra years for free, because of my support to the .org registry ;). But I'm really concerned if there's some billing problems in Enom.

Especially if you are charged $29 a year  Let us know what you hear from eNOM, thanks.

I just checked through some .org domains I have with eNom, both recently registered domains and ones I've had for a while, and they all show the correct expiration date - all one year from registration or renewal.

Thanks mole and Shiftlock.

I'm not too worried being charged $29 a year, my card would be over limit for 10 domains with 3/4 years each :D. I've checked my transaction history in Enom, and all showed one year only. May be only the whois is showing problems. Anyway, will see how it goes.

When you log into your eNom account and check the expiration date for these domains, does it show the same expiration date as the whois? If it does, then I wouldn't worry about it. Consider it a gift from eNom. :)

Yes. The expiration date for these domains in my eNom account is the same as the whois, that is a few years were added.

I do welcome a gift like this, I'm just afraid to pay for it :).

I hear nothing from them till now, I'll just forget about it at the moment. But I'll keep an eye on my credit card statement :).
