Yeah... any names of the form [something]info.com look odd compared to the more straightforward [something].info... usually one or more of these explanations apply:
1) The site started up before the .info domain was available
2) The corresponding .info name was grabbed by somebody else in the sunrise or landrush phases
3) The site owner has a heavy case of dot-com-itis and refuses to consider any other TLD, even when it would make more logical sense, and even if the site in question is noncommercial.
I've also seen [name]net.com, [name]org.com, [name]gov.com, etc... it always looks kind of silly to have a different TLD as the ending to a .com name.

I guess, perhaps, I fall into this latter category. I'm sure many do. I don't necessarily agree with the first statement ... but like domain values, can't logic also be subjective? Good Luck.
