Hallo people,

i am in the process of making a domain purchase between $6-10k. I want to use escrow, but when I checked escrow.com, they said max was 5k with CC and paypal IF I am a premier member...above that..do I need to wire or write a cheque...I'd really prefer to use paypal or CC for this. Any other escrow service I can use?

Wire. Or, if you are an established member ;) they let you split the payment into CC & wire.

Last time I had to pay above $5K, I had to use wire.
I am NOT acro :D

Try Moniker Escrow (Moniker.com)

Try Moniker Escrow (Moniker.com)

Moniker has a 5k limit as well...

I like to pay with my credit card as well and think it is a pain that I cannot but I understand why they do it....

I once paid 20k as a buyer (with my AMEX card) through Network Solutions certified offer service...I believe they will let you use a credit card up to 25k...It costs more than most want to pay though...I think 5%, but I was able to negotiate that 1% down with the larger transaction.
