I'm currently accepting offers on www.cardsandcues.com, which is an ecommerce store selling casino & billiards products. The sale will also include the domain name www.cardsncues.com. This site has a reliable dropshipper in place which I will inform the buyer of once a sales agreement has been reached.
The website features a custom template designed by me, its simple yet very effective and features easy navigation to all categories in the store. This is not a cheesy turnkey template website.... This site is an ACTIVE ecommerce business with verifiable traffic.
The website uses the ASP version of Ecommerce Plus from EcommerceTemplates.com... You will need to purchase a license if you buy this site (only around $125). This site needs to be run on a Windows based server. Currently the database is Microsoft Access, but could be converted rather easily to MS-SQL for future growth.
I will personally oversee the installation of the website onto a compatible server and make sure that everything is running just as well as it is now. I will also help the future owner setup payment processing options if needed (the site can use Authorize.Net, PayPal, 2Checkout, & other processors). An SSL certificate or use of a shared SSL certificate will be required to purchase seperately as well.
The site does take some time to operate, as the trick to running the site is making sure the site is only showing products that are in stock at the droppshipper's warehouse. If you do not have an hour or so every few days to keep your inventory updated, this site is not for you. This is really the main reason I would like to sell the site, as with 2 jobs, a woman, a new dog etc... I just don't have the time.
Stats for cardsandcues.com are growing nicely since the site was turned on in July of 2004. Over 100 unique visitors for both September & October. Over 300 unique visitors for November, and nearly 1000 unique visitors for December. Detailed statistics link available upon request through PM.
All of the Traffic stats shown above cost NOTHING... The website is HIGHLY optimized and performs well on Yahoo & MSN, I would say around 75% or more of the traffic is coming directly from Yahoo & MSN. I have not spent one penny on Pay Per Click or any other forms of advertising. The traffic should carry over to the new owner without issue. The site could fall off the search engines tomorrow (as we know there are no guarantees), but I do not forsee this happening.
Profit margins for items sold vary greatly, on some orders you can make 10 dollars, but if you sell one of the higher priced items, you can profit well over 100 dollars. It really just depends....
The site has sold around 20 orders so far, with nearly all of them coming in the last 2 months. Total sales over the last 4 months has been around $2500. Profit from those sales have been around 35% or so... give or take.
I will not give this site away... This could be a worthwhile investment for the right person. I will consider offers starting in the low-mid XXXX range. Let me know if you are interested. Depending on the interest in the site I may set an auction closing date and let it go, or just end the sale altogether if the right price is mentioned.
