estibot is amazing!

i got some domains that estibot says are woth 165k. i think this is because of the yahoo and dmoz listings as well as the age, ect.

The owner is Josh, a fellow domainer very active in NP.

NP has a thread I posted to, I gave estibot a very unfavorable review after I ran multiple domains that had certified appraisals, nothing personal against the developer, but the program delivers very erratic results, I found that it rarely hits the correct price range, and for the times it does, I compare it to pulling a handle on a slot machine, you never know what will come up.

I'll use one domain for example, a generic type-in that has over 10,000 monthly overture searches, In which I purchased 2 appraisals over a year ago.

Estibot:

3 appraisals ran 5 to 30 minutes apart.

1) $120,000
2) $...4,200
3) Reg Fee

Afternic: (2006)
$52,000

Godaddy: (2006)
$48,000

$300 + Monthly revenue

Estibot's appraisal never hit the correct range, if its giving results like this, how can anyone take it serious?

i have also found estibot unreliable, not as much on price (i search the same name multiple times and normally gives the same price) ... but rather, in giving search results. Using overture tool i will get ovt score of xx,xxx on some names, and then try the same name on estibot and get search score of xx, or even x. :?:
