closed EUJet.com - what do you think of this?

I own EUjet.com which is previously an airline company offering cheap Europe flight. They have about 300,000 passengers per annum, but unfortunately they went bankrupt in 2005. There are several people offering $8000 for this name. It generates about $7/day. What do you think about this domain, will you sell it at $8000?

Under these circumstances, it is obvious that the traffic will eventually fade out. The important question is, how much was it making per day a year ago, two years ago? Notice the traffic and revenue trends, and calculate roughly how much time it will take for the traffic to stop and calculate how much revenue you would have made by then. If you think it is worth selling it at $8k then do it. Simple math

Well, mathematically it is worth selling for 8K. But I think the domain is nice and is brandable. Im not sure how much does it generates 2 years ago, I just grabs it from snapnames.

I think $8k sounds like a sale to me. If the traffic keeps steady (which it most likely won't), it's still 3-4 years of revenue and you should also take into consideration that the domain name itself, IMO, isn't worth very much.

That's just my 2 cents.

I think that's a deal. Or maybe waite if the company will pick up again and resell it.
