How can Tjs.org expire on 9/5/2014 ? Have they registered it for the next 12 years ?

But the maximum allowed by Icann is 10 years ...

From Safesys posting under my link : "maybe the registrar was paying the registry yearly despite indicating an expiry date for the full period you paid in their own local whois?"

Using above information, if I NEWLY transfer a domain which expire in year 2004 into another registrar, and I try to renew 10 year from that registrar. If that registrar don't check and don't pay 10 year fee at once, their database can show record that the domain expire in year 2014.
