Expirewish fries my butt

I don't mind it to much if a name I am trying to grab ends up being grabbed by another drop service.


But when I put the name in my expirewish (fish) account and then somebody hand regges the name with registryfly it really burns my butt.


just had it happen again and had to get that off my chest.

If they are very fast and are up at 2:00 AM it might happen. We grab a serious amount of names each day it is very unlikely they would be able to beat us otherwise.

So you really fast domain people need to sleep in so expirewish has a shot at some names for me.

I think the problem with many drop services is they are becoming TOO popular and overloaded, and many competitors have emerged.

ExpireFish claims to monitor 250,000 names. If they can check 100 names per second, that would take 40 minutes. But I doubt if they could run at that speed.

But for less than $20 for a name, what do you expect? ExpireFish is OK for mediocre names, but don't expect a 3 letter .com .

I frequently hand reg and beat them to my own list names. In fact they rarely get me anything - and I have a lot of easy to grab names listed there, not high priced competitive stuff.

I once saw a nominal name come available while doing a hand reg, and thought for fun I would see how long until Expirefish did the grab...over 16 hours later lol

Don't put all your eggs in that particular basket.

i have about 50 names in my expirefish account. basically i'm hoping they can grab one or two...

Just when I start to complain about Expirefish, they grab me 2 names in 12 hours. Maybe they read the DNForum?
