Extracting domain names from large .XML files

Hi all,

If there any free/paid desktop software to easily extract domains from large (300/500MB) XML files ? Or do you know any other way to extract them with no pain ?

With something so large it is unlikely that you can ever load it into memory to use any xml extraction commands in php, C, etc. In that case you could split it into smaller files and parse them.
If you are on a mac or linux though the task is a lot easier using the 'grep' command. If you only want to do it one off you can send me the file and I can pull them out for you.

Thanks for your assistance. I've a file splitter so I can easily create smaller sized files but I'm on Windows unfortunately and this's something I need to do often, ot just once.
I've a long way to extract them (by using multiple desktop apps to clean the internal text etc ...), I was just hoping to find a much easier way to execute this task.
