what exactly is a gogl and won't it hurt your sales by parting with the domain if its part of your site?

www.gogl.us is a typo domain. If you would realise, so many websites are now using domain typos to drive extra traffic to their websites.....As to whether my own traffic will be affected if I part with the alias domain, I would say yes, but I am sacrificing that to get a reduction in my hosting cost.
