Starting this month I noticed payments from Fabulous.com now come by way of DemandMedia.com who is shown as the sender in PayPal.

Any idea why they now use Demand Media instead of paypal payments from Fabulous as they always did in the past?

Demand Media handles a lot of the backend stuff for Fab now. It was outsourced by Fab to Demand Media. Fab laid off a few employees and gave over this function, along with a few others, to DM.

I believe there was an announcement a while ago, whereby the two would team up to provide more extensions at Fab. Don't remember the exact details.

Correct, Demand Media aka eNom provides the back end functions for Fabulous. Nothing to worry about.

I was worried this was a precursor to a fabulous sale to demand media since we could then easily see ppc dropping over the cliff if that happened. Kind of weird fab would need someone else to handle some of their functions.
