LOL, if you don't know the word it is in the dictionary. Kind of funny how this thread sat unanswered for 24 hours, then all this "interest" within the last couple of minutes.
I didn't know that posting here automatically meant that I was thinking of selling it. If that's a requirement of the forum, my apology. I was just curious to hear comments. Anyway, at seven bucks a year, it's hardly going to impoverish me. That's about half what I spend for coffee each week.
Not in my Webster's Collegiate, which is 1,500 pages long. That should tell you something.
Dictionary.com normally gives at least 5 entries for a word that you search for, facund only has one. And what does it say for that? "[Archaic]" -- a.k.a nobody uses it any more.
This is basically not a word. It may have used to be a word, but it's not a word any more.
All that means nobody is going to type it in or remember it. Thus it has no resale value. If you don't want to sell, no problem.
Actually would have been very surprised if anyone here knew what it meant. When I was in grad school, I came across the word in a text, that's how I knew it.
